Watercooler talk 12/11/2010
All my own talk, all my own imagination.
- Barack Obama rode to Washington as Lincoln-incarnate and promising change. He brought about his own downfall by raising expectations sky-high. Placing oneself at par with Lincoln has its own disadvantages.
- Why do people complain when companies and banks make profit, at the same time when they demand democracy and free economy. If free economy does not generate profits in a democratic country, that is defined as “failed” socialism (or “free market socialism” that India realised, in 1990, does not work).
- SAP stats tweet from Jon Reed (of jonerp.com): “% of standard programs that are changed in SAP in ERP 6.0: from 4.6C: 64%, from 4.7: 40%, from 5.0: 31%” Interesting, huh?
